Sthalathe Pradhana Payyans is a typical Renji Panikkar style political thriller. The background of the story is an ordinary man Gopalakrishnan(Jagadish) from a local colony becoming a minister due to certain circumstances. The challenges he face form the rest of the story. It is a typical Renji panikkar-Shaji Kailas film with hard hitting dialogues set in the backdrop of the political situation in 1993.<br/><br/>Jagadish has given a decent performance though he shows his limitation in some dialogue deliveries.Narendra Prasadthe scheming Politician delivers a standout performance.Suresh gopi also delivers in his short cameo.The rest of the cast delivers good performance. As with Renji Panikkar films the heroine Suchithra doesn&#39;t have much role and the romantic track is minimal.<br/><br/>The Film is a good one time watch mainly due to Ranji Panikkars script and direction by Shaji Kailas and a very good first half.<br/><br/>Rating 7/10
